What goes around comes around!

I received 2 whatsapp messages yesterday! One was from Prakash & the other from Riya. Both ex colleagues (Names changed)

Prakash used to report in to Riya in 2010 when we were working together at a bank. He was from a small town in Uttar Pradesh

His english was not very polished & because of this his boss made life miserable for him. She used to summon him to her desk every morning & ridicule smallest of grammatical mistakes in his emails, aloud on the floor

It was absolutely embarrassing to hear the treatment she meted out to the poor guy

Prakash was a creative designer & did not necessarily need to be good at English language to deliver at work

Fed up of this treatment, Prakash started his own digital agency in 2012

The content of his text yesterday was: "Looking for 2 #Seniordesigners

He has been expanding rapidly last few years & was reaching out to see if I could refer some people for his agency

Riya was looking for new opportunities in her message as she had lost her current job & was serving notice period

While I read their texts I couldn't help wonder what a great leveler life is!

Never abuse your position to ridicule someone who may not be so privileged today!
